Absolute Alignment, Britain's foremost wheel alignment specialist, has been displaying the latest wheel alignment tech at Europe's foremost aftermarket show Automechanika. The Aldershot-based firm has a range of wheel aligners to suit workshops of all sizes, and taking centre stage has been their brand new CDE Wall Mount Aligner. Designed to cope with the requirements of many garages with limited space and powered by a top-quality Android tablet, this compact unit stores safely on the wall when not in use and the wireless charging unit makes sure it is ready to go in an instant.
Small in size but big in performance, the Wall Mount is a 6-camera CCD aligner that is fully loaded with Absolute Alignment's special "Wishbone" and "Teclink" programs for speed of alignment and enhanced management control. Of particular relevance to the modified car world is the "Spoiler" mode to allow lowered vehicles to be aligned - another example of Absolute Alignment's attention to detail. The Wall Mount is fully portable and can be used on a variety of ramps and lifts, meaning vehicles can be aligned anywhere in the workshop instead of having to be moved to a dedicated alignment bay.
